Cesena Pool
On the hills above Cesena, an old farmhouse and mill has been restored without erasing its history, alongside contemporary architectural elements. The pool blends in discreetly thanks to materials chosen in harmony with the historic building: a terracotta strip interior, limestone edges and a cascade overflow on two sides. The clay soil required a pile foundation, cellular glass drainage and insulation. A roller cover, cogeneration heating and soft LED lighting make it efficient and respectful of the landscape.
